FOR A BEAUTIFUL PLANET

Houston, we have emissions
When it comes to climate action we pursue a realistic approach. We pursue a realistic approach, grounded in science. We have therefore had our climate targets officially validated by the professionals at the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
CLIMATE TARGETS
Our science-based targets
In 2022, we developed our current set of climate targets in collaboration with our partners for climate accounting myclimate Deutschland gGmbH. The targets were validated by SBTi in 2023 and use our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from 2019 as the baseline:
“DRYKORN MODEVERTRIEBS GMBH & CO. KG commits to reduce scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 46% by 2030 from a 2019 base year, and to measure and reduce its scope 3 emissions.”

Our SBTi progress
We are on track to reach our first Science-based target having maintained a GHG a reduction of Scope 1 and 2 emissions below 46% for two years in a row now. For the FY 2024/25 this reduction stands at 61,5% compared to 2019. In 2023/24 it was at 63%. We achieved the reduction mostly through the solar panels which were installed on our buildings in 2022 as well as the ongoing elctrification of our company vehicle fleet. And while we are proud of what we are achieving in Scopes 1 and 2, we must also focus on the true mountain of emissions that are caused by our actions: 99% of GHG emissions are generated upstream in our supply chain, in Scope 3.*
* Our Scope 3 inventory includes emissions from: digital activities, commuting and business travel, transportation by third-party companies, food and beverages, water consumption, packaging and office supplies, the production and processing of textile fibers and trims, waste and recycling, as well as other emissions from electricity, heat, and fuel consumption that were not allocated to Scope 1 or 2
CARBON FOOTPRINT
Mind your own business first
Together with our partner for carbon accounting, myclimate Deutschland gGmbH, we once again calculated our corporate carbon footprint in 2025. Compared to the previous year, we have an increase of 26% in CO2-equivalent (CO2e) emissions.
Why?
In Scopes 1 and 2, our own operations, the increase was marginal, mostly driven by a colder winter and more heating. The real increase stems from our measurement: We went deeper in our carbon accounting yet again, adding new emission factors for the areas deeper in our supply chain: Scope 3.
It's our second SBTi goal to measure Scope 3 emissions and to reduce them. So that's what we did: We measured more raw materials, now covering more than 90% of our material volume; We assessed the emissions of trims (such as zippers, buttons, etc.) and we measured the emissions of plastic product packaging as well as the production step “Spinning”.
* All CO2e-emissions were calculated based on emission factor set “myclimate Release 1.24.3” by myclimate Deutschland gGmbH. The Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) was calculated together with myclimate Deutschland gGmbH in accordance with the GHG Protocol Standard and is divided into three scopes. Scope 1: direct emissions, Scope 2: indirect emissions from purchased energy, Scope 3: other indirect emissions along the value chain.
16,322 t
of CO2 make up our carbon footprint for 2024.
99%
of our emissions are generated within our supply chain.
