Responsibility at DRYKORN

DRYKORN IS STILL NOT SUSTAINABLE (ENOUGH)

We strive for perfection because we love our products. But let’s be honest: balancing economic, social and environmental interests is tough. So we do our best and strive to become sustainable enough.

Our Approach

DRYKORN WE MIND

We want our pieces to accompany their wearers over the long run and empower them to express their own definition of beauty. That said, our understanding of premium quality does not end at the hem of our garments. Just as it goes without saying that DRYKORN pieces must be durable and timeless, it is equally self-evident to us that they must be safe for their wearers and meet our responsibility standards. We work across three key areas.

PEOPLE

We are committed to upholding human rights throughout our supply chain to the same standards we expect of ourselves. To achieve this, we work with suppliers who are committed to fair working conditions. We know our supply chain, maintain close dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders, and continuously seek opportunities for direct, and sometimes unconventional, collaboration.

PLANET

In 2023, we set climate targets and had them validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). We have now met our Scope 1 and 2 reduction target for the second consecutive year (read more here). The environmental impact of our materials is another important field of action for us. We are particularly interested in the field of circular economy, in other words, how we can keep products in the loop for as long as possible and make them recyclable at the end of their lives.

PRODUCT

We rely on valuable resources to create our products, so naturally we want to use them consciously and transform them into clothing of the highest quality. We produce each collection based on demand to avoid overproduction. With our products, we place particular emphasis on the use of natural materials.

IMPACT REPORT

Every year, we publish our IMPACT REPORT, in which we aim to present our achievements and challenges as comprehensively and transparently as possible. Feel free to browse through it, and if you have any questions, contact us at any time at info@drykorn.com.
